This is where you can hire Guy’s services for a day, or set number of days per month. You can also hire Guy’s Associate colleagues in the same way.

This allows us to work in a flexible way with businesses on a consultancy basis, often with SME’s with limited budgets.

New product development and launch are a central part of Pearson Business Solution’s Consultancy services. For example, Guy Pearson was central to the launch of new product ranges for well over twenty years, with the following results:

Doubled sales

Guy Pearson worked as Interim Sales Director for UK Experiences at Red Letter Days where he created and delivered a strategy that doubled sales in three years. This was achieved by leasing in Platforms that opened up Tier 1 and 2 Client opportunities, he also sourced an Engagement measurement platform and advised the board on Value Added Solutions selling rather than transactional discount selling.

Stock orders secured in 18 days

In 2010-2011 The Galtee Group in Ireland, who manufacture high specification door solutions, asked Guy (as part of our retainer agreement) to source distribution in the UK territory, where they had never traded before.

Guy contacted the major door solution distributor in the South East and facilitated Board level negotiations for Galtee. Within 18 days Galtee had secured stock orders to the value of €168k against cheaper Chinese competition.

This distribution agreement led to a €1m account within the year. This represented a 514% return on Galtee’s investment in retaining Pearson Business Solutions.

‘Meet the need’ strategy

At Matilda’s Planet, Guy gave the business a new client-led ‘meet the need’ strategy and personally delivered £4.4m worth of new committed sales from 2016-2020 and a Pipeline in excess of £100m worth of opportunity.

Pipeline in excess of £15m

Also for Matilda’s Planet, Guy hired a new sales team for the business, which went on to secure a pipeline in excess of £15m in year one.

Guy’s mantra is ‘I never ask any person or a team to do anything I have not or would not do myself, this is key to managing people’.
